Theatreworks Current Season
This season at Theatreworks, we’re digging deep into stories that have shaped us—and the ones shaping what’s next. From the provocative pulse of Cabaret, first staged by Theatreworks in 1987, to the razor-sharp wit of The Importance of Being Earnest, a 2007 favorite, and the soulful parable Where We Stand, a New York Times Critic’s Pick, each production invites you into intimate moments of risk, revelation, and connection. We’re honoring our legacy with Romeo & Juliet, revisiting the Shakespearean drama that launched our journey in 1976, and celebrating contemporary voices with The Garbologists, an award-winning new play that finds unexpected beauty in what we leave behind. It’s a season of bold returns and fresh discoveries—live, electric, and made for you.
